About Shridevi Minajagi, Founder of Swaiam Foundation

Shridevi Minajagi, the visionary founder of Swaiam Foundation, is a passionate advocate for education, community empowerment, and positive societal transformation. A graduate of GFGCW College, Jamakhandi, she embarked on her professional journey with a strong commitment to making a lasting impact on people’s lives.

Her career began in the healthcare sector, where she worked as an HR professional at Shri Siddheshvar Sanstha’s SIRPY Dialysis Centre in Vijayapura, contributing to both organizational development and patient care. However, her true calling emerged in education. Driven by an unshakeable passion for teaching and empowering young minds, she transitioned into the educational sector, first serving as a Computer Teacher at Rabindranath Tagore School, Vijayapura, and later as an Assistant Teacher at Gurudev School, Vijayapura.

Her diverse professional experience, coupled with an unwavering dedication to community welfare, inspired her to establish Swaiam Foundation. The foundation, under her visionary leadership, strives to create opportunities for holistic growth through innovative and inclusive educational initiatives, especially for women and marginalized communities.

In addition to her remarkable work in education, Shridevi Minajagi’s leadership extends to Aydakki Lakkamma Pratisthan (R), where she serves as president. In collaboration with Swaiam Foundation, she empowered 250 women by providing free skill-based workshops such as mehendi, beautician classes, and hand-embroidery (Aari works) classes, helping homemakers develop valuable skills for financial independence.

Her resilience was especially evident during the COVID-19 pandemic, where she selflessly served as a COVID warrior. Her determination to protect and uplift her community during such a challenging time reflects her unwavering commitment to making a difference.

Today, Mrs.Shridevi Minajagi’s leadership continues to drive the mission of Swaiam Foundation, transforming lives, inspiring change, and building a brighter, more inclusive future for all
